The Craftsman Rod Lathe was designed to improve the process of building and or repairing a rod. 

Renzetti has been manufacturing the Basic Rod Lathe since the 80's. It was not until late 2012 when the Craftsman Rod lathe was introduced. As always, a lot of thought went through the process of how to improve the Renzetti rod lathe. Our main goal was how to make it affordable to our existing customers who would like to upgrade and the reason behind the two Conversion Kits.

The CK1001 is for the Rod Builder with a Rolling Carriage plate and a cam lock. This Kit offers the 3 - Bed Extensions with connecting brackets,  riser blocks and screws, drive shaft and orings, 3 Rolling Carriage wheels  and a longer 8 Spool Attachment Guide Arm.

 

The Conversion Kit allows you to work on the Basic Lathe without removing any attachments from the lathe, saving time and having more convenience without compromising quality or precision.
