The LS3000 Lathe Slide allows you to sit in one spot and move the lathe left to right simply by turning the same knob that moves your carriage on your existing lathe. This is a carriage replacement and has to be bolted to a table in order to function correctly. The kit comes with everything needed for a table thinner than 1-3/8" but the instructions also give you clear explanations on how to make this product work with a thicker table. Included is a drill template to make things easy.

It only works with the Craftsman Rod Lathe, (square box extension)
